I recently installed my new motherboard, graphics card, and RAM. When I boot it would BSOD right when it hits the loading screen even in safe-mode. Memory is set to the correct voltage/timings. Motherboard: ASUS P5Q Pro Graphics Card: GeForce 9800 GX2 RAM: 3G G.Skill DDR2-1066
You have 3 sticks of RAM. What I would do is swap the sticks. The first one I would remove is the stick in the 1st slot. Since it's happening early at boot. If it works, great. If not, try removing the 2nd stick of RAM and only run on 1GB. I think it's a RAM issue.
I'll try that after I'm finished reinstalling Vista, I was told I need to reinstall Windows when I get a new motherboard.
I am guessing it would be down to your storage controller, a reinstall will fix this but you will probably need your storage drivers during install.
