Case Mod - In Progress Mod-Est by Olinek2

I'd like to present you the shortest log on BT (1 post)
I had got cheap case produced by Tracer. It had been simple and awful


After two years I decided to change a look of this case. I started modification from silecing components. Then I made project, which had to be:
- modest,
- elegant,
- useful,
- innovative (eg. cable managment),
- good-looking.


Works lasted about 3 months. In this period I:
- changed PSU location,
- smoothed back,
- build touch reaction front panel,
- cut windows,
- painted components,
- build cable management system,
- made 1WIRE converter,
- etc.

Tell me now, where you placed the optical drive? how you open it?

 

NICE MOD! Awesome!

 

I just push the bottom right corner and it slides out
This piece of plexi is mounted to plate by hard rubber, so it's elastic and stable
OFC I dissembled front panel from optical drive.

 

Nice collaboration of colors. Maybe you can take a top down view into the case?

Ah, thats the spot. Even the sound deadening foam goes great in that.
