    It means exactly that. Loads of people have had various problems when trying to overclock quads on 680i boards, which is why I (and everyone else) suggested a P45 board. The Maximus II is a good board, so if you have your heart set on that, then go for it.

    it is agood board but there are more better value boards like the biostar TP45
    which scored slightly better than the maximus II

    thats really interesting.......although ive alrealy taken the plunge and bought the maximus 2 formula!!!!! looking forward to getting it now.
    is there anywhere i can get the antec 120 for anything less than £150???

    ive seen a few on ebay but there still pretty pricey

    I've got a Maximus with a Q6600, previously an E6600 and so far it's great. The best thing about it was that it was less then £100 from ebay:thumb:
