TV Shows Tv show banned

Although I didn't laugh I could see why people might find it amusing in a wierd sorta way. I was going to defend it untill I read this quote:

"The Chaser's Chris Taylor then explained there was no point making wishes comes true as "they're going to die anyway"."

Which, tbh, had me lost for words.

I don't find this funny at all. I understand the intent of the joke, but it somehow fails.

The show is called the Chasers War on Everything. If we said that they couldn't do this kind of sketch we'd have to change it to the Chaser's War on Things It's Still Politically Correct To Poke Fun Of which would be a much less entertaining show.

I laughed. I don't consider myself an arsehole. I have a terminally ill member of my family.

I do think the banhammer reaction was a bit extreme though. For example: Team America wasn't banned anywhere because of the song Everyone's Got Aids. That song could be considered just as offensive to someone who has a relative dying of AIDS. I bet that some people here who cringed at one laughed at the other..... am I right? There are some things that if you don't laugh at, you'll only cry at.

 

I don't see what all the fuss is about but apparently in the land of kangroos, convicts and dingos they do. and the punishment for the sketch doesn't just stop at a 2 week ban this is the latest.

Apparently the news isn't reported in an unbaised way in australia like it is in england (yeah right the sun unbiased ha) and the The Sydney Daily Telegraph devoted an entire section of its paper to an attack on the show and and anyone involved with the show. It would appear that there is more to this than anyone is telling. After all this isn't the chaser teams most controvisial stunt apparently and I quote

Maybe someone in the goverment has decided its time for a little payback.

 

well, the funniest part was the caption after the "hosts" name, "TV Personality"... the rest was just sad and evil...

 

I love the Osama stunt.

I'd give them rep if I could... just for that!

 

only the BBC has a duty to be unbiased. other news agencies are commercially/privately funded so can do whatever the hell they want.

The BBC have already admitted that their reporting is biased

 

Of course it is nothing can be unbiased as it will always go with the views of it's staff and in general you can see the BBC leans very much to the left.

 

Mr.Show did 2 sketches, one a lot like this that I cannot find on youtube and this one which is kinda like it but better

 

It's nice i also best for me.
