POTM [07/09] The Colors of Summer nights

Yesterday I went outside for a bit of fresh air and noticed that it was really bright towards the north. I walked down the driveway and discovered the northern lights. It was the second time I've seen the lights and the first time I have ever been able to capture them.

I live in southern Minnesota so I'm surrounded by fields and farms. No where near you guys...
