    Unfortunately these have been discontinued according to Maplin website... I cant seem to find any other rated with high enough watt rating has quoted in that artical

    Anyone know where to find some in the UK?

    i had the same problem when i ordered componets for homebuilt rheobus. I am still without any form of voltage control, which isnt very handy when ur tryin to make a rheobus :sigh:

    If u could post any info on alternatives that u've found Gryph, id be truely gr8ful :)

    RS components do nice 3 watt potenometers. But they are rather pricey. £9 each. Im going to shop around a bit more :) Will post here if I find a better alternative.
