I love this mod but I don't want to see this case in front of my bed when I wake up ! Very good paint skill.

 

lol thanks mate btw if anyone's interested I weighed it by picking it up and standing on the scales and subtracting my own weight. Its 21.5kg and very awkward to pick up without stabbing yourself and I almost blew my poo-poo valve (that may only be funny to Australians I'm not sure)

I'm going to take a couple of pics to send to "PC Powerplay", a mag in Australia that features a reader's PC each month. Usually they are normal beige boxes so hopefully I'll get published as the winner always gets some cool hardware as a prize. A free monitor would be nice *hint hint*

So anyway I'll prob post a couple of those here as well.

 

Man it looks insane, when I saw the very first pics I imagine that your mod problaby would an windows mod + painting + some cc´s but when I saw the first alien I knew that it would be an Amazing mod.

Dude, you have nice skills I wonder if I have 20% of your skill.

I showed the pic of the case to my cat and it ran off and has been missing all day.
I think i can hear it crying in the shed.

Great mod, but it scares the crap out of cats.

I just painted the black coat on the speaker stands thought I would put up pics while I'm waiting for it to dry.
As you can see I had some leftover clay so I made some chest-bursters.
I'll do the gold highlights and probably make the chest-bursters brownish and with some red on their teeth.
I also padded the front speakers so it doesn't vibrate the plaster off (I hope )







That Corsair PSU packaging was so useful

Thanks mate, I'm very close to finishing everything, which is sorta funny since I posted "final" pics nearly a month ago
I originally painted the speaker stand chestbursters brown:









They look a bit crappy so I painted them black again today while I was painting the monitor stand that I made with some more leftover stuff.
Because I moved my keyboard and mouse onto the sliding tray I couldn't wedge stuff between the keyboard and the box I had the monitor resting on, which covers the ugly box. I could have just stuck a picture on it or something but I thought this would tie it all together.
So I've used the Corsair PSU box and some more packaging from inside to make a monitor stand:









So I just have to put the gold on this and the chestbursters and probably some more red on their teeth and I'll be done....maybe...

The CPU was a bit hot so I cut off these covers and cut some more room for a 6cm exhaust fan it seems to help i can game for hours and it hits 40 degrees celsius max:







While I had the side off I velcroed the switches against the wall:





Had to take some pics when I noticed the blue reflections:

 

I overclocked it to 3.25 and it got up to 51 degrees. I'm back at stock speed now I just wanted to try out the ASUS AI Overclock thingy. I guess there's a lot of extra insulation on the case so the heat isn't too bad.

Anyway there are five final pics so thanks everyone for your votes and comments and big thanks to bit-tech for actually running the site it's awesome and I'll be hanging around watching other people suffer

 

I forgot to mention I got another 4Gb of the same Corsair DDR2 1066 so I'm using 8Gb and all the slots are filled so I won't have to take the side off again until I upgrade the PSU and video cards in the distant future. If anyone hears of a video card with lots of black, cool looking heatpipes, blue led's or glow-in-the-dark skulls gimme a yell

 

That looks so...evil. -It's like satan's birthday cake! The black with brass highlights works REALLY well.
