    Hi all,

I'm looking at converting my current rig to watercooling, and was wondering if i could get some suggestions on radiators, pumps, reservoirs and water blocks?

I have an i7 975 CPU, an ASUS P6TD-Deluxe motherboard, 1GB ASUS GTX285 graphics card and 3x2GB Corsair Dominator memory.

    Thanks in advance!

    Whats your budget?
Are you after more performance or less noise? Or both?
What parts of your setup do you want to be watercooled?
What case is it going into?
How confident are you in installing it all?

Don't have a budget, more interested in quality parts.
I'm looking at both, increasing performance and reducing the noise.
I'd like to cool the cpu, graphics card and the memory to start with. And possible the motherboard mosfet and chipset, although, those two i'm not a 100% certain about. Seen hard drive water coolers, but havent read anything about them to date, so any suggestions would be great.
    It's going into a Lian-Li P80B case.
I'm pretty confident about the install.

Why the hell would you suggest FluidXP? It's pretty much accepted in the watercooling community as the worst stuff you can put in your loop, and it's 3 times more expensive than similar stuff from ThermoChill, Feser and PrimoChill....

Oh and dont buy from Aquatuning, they deserve no ones money for their shady business practices.

A note on the EK blocks, they've cool and sexy, but I had problems with short-circuiting on my 4870X2 that were solved by using plastic screws, so may be something to consider. It can be done with metal screws and paper washers, but the EK manual doesn't always give the right washer points, and doesn't come with enough of them, so I just made sure and used plastic ones :thumb:

More importantly, good move, watercooling is amazing! :D

I have never had any problems with www.watercoolinguk.co.uk so can recommend them. Cooling that lot I would def go for 2 loops, no problems with space in that case

For the cpu block have a look at the heatkiller V3.0 . Currently using that on my i7 920 and my temps top out at 88 at 4.29ghz . I haven't cooled any other component just the cpu. Easy to fit as well.

I've been getting conflicting advice on whether to get one or two radiators... Do I really need two?

Secondly, would I need fans on both side of the radiator, or just the one?

just get a 120.3 thermochill radiator they are the best and some sharkoon golf dimple fans and it is enough to have fans on one side but you will lose 1-5 degrees if you have on both sides so it isn't nesscary but it is better
