    Hi guys and gals,

bit of an odd request... What is the cheapest PCI-E Graphics card that would be an improvement over an ATI X1650?
Basically trying to help a mate out, motherboard died so passed on an old ECS RS400A and celeron (2.8 I think) that I had floating around but she wants to do some lightish gaming so needs a GPU... What should I suggest/pick up for her?
She did have the aforementioned card but it's AGP and doesn't seem compatible with the strange virtual AGP socket on the M/B...

(by light gaming I mean things like half-life 2/Doom 3 etc... nothing bleeding edge :) )

    Cheers in advance!

    Nivida 8400GS, 9600GS ??
    ATi 4550
Can pick them up for about £30/£40

Most cards that are PCI-e are going to be more powerfull than the current card, so go shopping and see what you find.
