I want to get my fiance a really nice valentines card, but i looked around about 5 different stores today including karstadt and kaufhof but i couldnt find any for valentines day does anyone know where i can get one,. Thanks Sarah
I collected these two sites: http://www.valentinegreetingcard.info/index_main.php?ru=2810210&cat=sweetheart http://101valentinethings.com/valen...Idea&ru=2810211&category=&subcategory=&id=111 Hope you like it as well.
To be honest, I'd go to an art supplies shop, get some heavy textured paper and make one if there's nothing in the shops. I really don't like the crap they put on commercial greetings cards. You sometimes have to question the sanity of Hallmark's card designers.
Off topic...and yet slightly on... Am I the only one that doesn't do Valentines day? I love my girlfriend, but we've both decided two things: - Valentines day is another way for shops to get moolah -We can have love all year round - why one day of the year to make a gesture, when food places are overbooked? Quoting the lady 'It's commercialised bullsh*t at the end of the day' I'm awaiting the flames But if you do want to get one - make it yourself - in any occasion it's more personal, and shows you put effort into it...
All I can say is make sure you get the right spelling of fiance! I wasn't aware there was more than one way to spell it until I the birthday card I got my fiancee was in fact for a fiance... I did wonder why it was in a different section to the others at the time but thought nothing of it! The problem I have with nicer cards is that then tend to cost upwards of a fiver. That much money just for a flimsy bit of paper and some glitter is terrible! Have you considered getting a giant one (~4ft high)?
QFT! The one thing I'll outline in a relationship is I don't do valentines day! My birthday is 4 days later anyway so... As has been said though, make one, much more personal
i dont either really, our anniversary is only a few days after, so for her sake we "roll it all into one BIGGER bundle of joy" ... in reality i make no extra effort, and save a bit.
Is it incredibly lucky or slightly depressing I have been single during every valentines day for the last 5-6 years?
