    Theres a huge modding community for freespace after the source code went open source, but not the game, if you have freespace 2 there are loads of mods, and you can still get freespace 2 on GOG

    You sir are a terrible person for even MENTIONING Freespace on the first post of a page. You had my hopes up that the thread was actually about Freespace. I am sad now. :sigh:

    I agree with that completely.

    My one wish however is for it to work on OSX. I miss my GSB laughs since moving to mac. :(

    It's on sale on Steam this weekend too, according to a pop up I got yesterday. £5.24 for the collectors edition.

    Does anyone remember Colony Wars from PS1? That was a great space shooter. True 360* movement, compelling combat. I miss that.
