    Cute chicks!

And something different with some flowers

The lens used is about as old as me, and with that i get no aperture control with the lens :( but it looks good apart from that? :)

haha your chicks in the last photo are like out of focus? I like the flower shot a lot though. its pretty awesome :) theres a really nice flow to it. My favorite part of the photo would be the colors though.

The next 3 after the Robin are of a male Chaffinch and then it's a Blue Tit.

I love the tone to the photos. Brilliant light.

You seem to be having the same issues that I've managed to have when taking shots of birds in trees, other branches being in the dam way. Ends up with that wierd in out of focus effect.

This was taken on a 200mm. Would be alot better on the 300.

Very nice shot, but i think i can see what you mean, the flowers look like the main interest rather than the bird :p but i'm no bird photographer, just saw lots in the trees and thought i would give it a try :D

And currently i don't have any money to indulge in any mags :(

Very nice images indeed, very well captured. I'm no photographer but I do take the occasional photo, here's one of some ducks at a Forest which is around 60 mile away from where I live. Nothing special, regular cheap camera but I think it's pretty nice, feel free to add this to your collection of bird photos if you wish (or have a bird album or whatever).

Oh and about the out of foucs ducklings, the general rule is that if the eyes are in focus its cool. As thats the distinguishing point, or somethink like that.

The shot of the Robin is fanstatic.

Gav the woodpecker(? ) is great. Is the first bird tagged? (Right leg)

The blue one is a Nuthatch and yes, the long tailed tit is tagged - a lot of them are around here.
