    I have tried this twice on 4 different PC with the same method from this website

    a screenshot of the error here

    Basically I have done things at below point:

    * Got WAIK windows 7 installed on the virtual machine
    * make winpe iso
    * Did sysprep generalize
    * Boot the iso with VMware
    * Start using imagex to capture the windows 7 image
    * Clean the current virtual machine
    * use Imagex again to apply the wim file to cleaned virtual machine
    * Run bcdboot.exe D:\windows to tell to load the OS from there

    Can anyone point me the right direction please.

    Thanks

    What are you trying to achieve?
    If you're trying to VM a windows system you can just use the free vmware converter.
    I'm thinking it's a driver issue as you're copying to different hardware.
    Are you using WDS on 2008?

    Create a Windows Image file and start image PCs with the new windows image file i just created .

    I get the same error with phyisical PC in lab after the WIM image applied.

    *PROBLEM SOLVED* used Windows 2008 Server (Windows 7 WAIK btw) to create WIM file.
