The day I can afford a decent Silverstone case(aside from Raven) is the day I will buy a Lian-Li.

Was the FT03 listed as aluminum, or steel? The finish in those photos looks very much like steel. If it's aluminum though, I might be interested, if I can replace the plastic bits.

Bindi said 3mm milled aluminium a few posts ago.

Personally, I'm waiting for what Fractal will offer since I'm not in a hurry with my next sff system, they said they've got some mATX goodiness on the way. Fractal has got their style right, and unlike Silverstone, prices are reasonable. One 300€ case is enough for me:)

I think Bindi was referring to the TJ11 when he mentioned 3mil.

As for Fractal Design, I *am* watching them. I have an Array R2 here which is almost complete, for my wife. Fitted with a fullsize ATX PSU and a GTX460. Just been slow finishing up the external rad box.

If Fractal's new ARC case was aluminum, I'd be watching more intently. But, soon as I read the words "plastic bezel" that killed much of my enthusiasm. Maybe their other upcoming SFF cases will be alu.

I don't, since the post was directly response to my hopes about the price of FT03 hovering around 100€.

You're right, I'm wrong. I skipped over the name preceding the line, just saw the quote.

    Materials

Silverstone will use Alu for external shell and steel for internal structure.
I wish, metal upper "grill" instead of plastic.
