no interest in the netbook, but a stand alone keyboard like that might. provided it had standard size keys and some tactility.

Not sure about it as a netbook but as a keyboard, it would be intresting.

Unlike most of you, I actually know very little about it and am quite willing to take a wait and see attitude instead of flaming what may turn out to be a great product.

As I've said in another tghread about this piece of hardware allready...

Any gaming-device like the G13 or the like is thousand times better suited for gaming then this rubbish POS. And why should I buy something like this instead of a gaming-notebook?

Sorry, bit as a input-device it's failing becuase of it's high latency, and for gaming it fails because of it's crap hardware.

Probably these new AMD Fusion's APUs for netbooks and notebooks are a good match with this specific concept.

Netbook sized gaming is probably going to be one of the successes of 2011, but probably not with an Atom CPU.

Alienware's M11X was a great concept, but suffered from inflated prices. I'd be interested in something similar with a dual/quad core CPU and mid range graphics capability - as long as you were guaranteed regular driver updates (which many laptop GPU's lack).

This product just seems to be aimed at WOW addicts who don't like to get out of bed.

Gosh, a portable device designed around a low-power CPU with an OS and interface geared to specific applications, which are downloaded through a closed-garden purchasing system. It's almost like, like... an iPad. :D

If they made a full sized keyboard like that at a reasonable price I would buy one in a hurry. The optimus was soo good safe for the price tag. This seems a little more straight forward just putting one screen under all the keys.

That's great for every piece of productivity software not just gaming.

I agree with what people have been saying about the keyboard, but for me it would depend a lot on the feel of it. From the video the keys look pretty glassy and like laptop keys. That's pretty much a no-go for me.

website says concept design. Probably not final spec. Could use say a Sandy Bridge based Atom in the end which wouldn't be the worst.
