Interesting ..... I dunno if I like it thou, I feel like the design needs simplifying The "custom-built rig you can order" is that a contradiction in terms??? one thing for sure is that price is too high but hey they got overpriced gadgets all over the show these days
Looks fantastic, like something out of Portal but the specs aren't that great. Oh and the price isn't exactly reasonable
cool find .. wouldnt suit my needs ...too many stray dog hairs would enter the cooling fins .. He isnt even allowed upstairs but they get bloody everywhere !
I personally think the price is well founded when you consider the work involved. I do agree about the design though. It looks like a mash-up of ideas robbed from the forums... but I still think it's very cool and I commend the guy for giving it his all.
The case does look quite cool, not too sure about having all the components exposed like that. Also the I/O ports all seem to be a little too close to the desk/ground, there will be pressure on the connectors.
+1 to the Portal similarity. It's a real shame, but it isn't really enough to make me want to buy it...no matter how you look at it, any end user wants usability, and...this great looking case mod doesn't offer that.
Am I the only one who is starting to get slightly annoyed at the whole "mil-spec" meaningless term that seems to be used more and more?
Can't believe they have the brass to charge shipping! I'm caught between 'meh' and 'minging' as an opinion... where does the second GPU go and do they include an SLi bridge in the price. /cynical
From certain angles the design looks nice, but really it's just a mess. Kudos for trying, but for a commercial product the case just doesn't look finished. and $2900 for what is a mid-spec P55-build and what is essentially a pile of CNC-cut sheets and spacers? Yeah.. Good luck with that.
