Other new laptop recommendation please

hi bit tech guys

my mum wants a new laptop for around £300 with a big screen

could you give me some recommendations please?

the usage will be typical mum stuff - word processing, email and internet

lol.. i erm dunno... shes used to a netbook but wants a full laptop.. whatever size is big for a laptop...?

 

well 15" is standard and 17" is usually classed as big i guess but they arent exactly portable

 

Have a look in your local Argos, they have several laptops around the £300 mark that would be more than suitable for your mums needs.
