it makes me laugh, all i use is avast free and malwarebytes anti-malware free, i do a scan once a week and i havnt found anything in ages, it just goes to show that there are a lot of people who never learn to be even the slightest bit careful about what they click on

I'm perfectly serious. Why care about how long it takes to scan the whole PC ? Just let it do it when you're away or something. What really matters is real time protection and so far SE is doing great for me. Even on my 5 year old laptop it's not eating up ressources

I learned one thing over the years however and it's that everyone thinks differently of all anti viruses because there is no real way to compare them. Just use whatever you like, it doesn't matter as long as you have one that is up to date, which is the problem of most noobs PCs
