I don't really get the appeal of this game, just judging by the look of the game. hmm.

I also own a copy of the original for the PC but if it comes out (say via steam and not the god awful GWFL) I would be tempted to purchase it again. But like the others, I fail to see the "HD" ness and except for nicer looking water; what other upgrades has it had?

    Didn't you notice?

I picked it up on gog.com but haven't taken the time to play it.

    No PC release? :(

    RRRRRRRRRight. I think I had a 9500 or 9700 once upon a time.

I really don't know why people complain about the boss fight. It was MEANT to be a challenge.
Something's hard, people whine about it. Something's easy, then it's supposedly been dumbed down for consoles. I hope the moaning over the years doesn't influence BGE2, so that the end is just about whacking certain bits on a boss until they are dead. Mind you, it probably couldn't get worse than the end of Bioshock.

    ARTICLE: 'pain in the ass'

I've said it before but, for the good of the English language, I'll say it again: 'ARSE'.
Despite the moronic replies I got before, this is the one and only spelling (and pronunciation). As in the German, 'Arsch'.
Otherwise, donkey ownership is at an all-time high.

Indeed, last time I checked bit-tech was a UK based website so surely we should use UK english not US english? Unless you're gonna start calling colour color and aluminium aluminum?

As funny as it sounds, I would read something being a "pain in the ass" to be less serious than if something was a "pain in the arse". The americanness of the word implies a certain level of superfluousness.

Woah there Joe, I never said any of that. Think you meant to quote mute1. [Edit] Actually you did quote mute1 but for some reason my name is in there too. Weird.

I'm guessing this is meant to be more of an 'update' for those who played it on a console their first time through, as I imagine it would be quite a step up from say, the PS2 release.
Either way, as soon as it hits PSN I will be buying it and encourage everyone else who is able to to do so. Show that there is still a lot of interest in the original and build a case for the sequel.
