Ouch £150!

I'll be mainly using the pcs / laptop at work and my gaming rig at home only for a couple of hours.
Will not get sucked into the numbers game, I just see it as doing something good for charity and leaving the numbers to the big boys.

 

This is why I only fold in winter.. Folding for 6 months costs me around 250 - 300 squid.

Therefore I cant justify that when im opening windows to let heat out...

If it stops me putting a fan heater on... Its a much better use of power....

For a decent rig (CPU) think

250w

x 24 = 6kwh

So about a quid a day probably with some variables chucked in.

 

i'm going to be cutting right back as im going home due to end of term at uni

but come end of april i'll be right back!! might even bring my pc back a little earlier

Sorry, WHAT?! I lived in university accommodation for my first year and had to pay every penny of electricity that was used... and that included the heating - the rent was expensive enough as it was!

Damn kids these days don't know how lucky they are

 

Didn't pay any bills in my first year when I was in halls..

Sigh. I almost wish I never bothered going to uni at all, you know?

 

And then you think of all the times you got yourself some EZ poontang and then you realise it was SO worth it.
