Yeah I'm going to be ordering gear for a new build and confused between X58 and Sandy Bridge. Any chance of an April version before Tuesday?

I'm also wondering if there will be an april version. Think the guide is excellent, and was planning on picking parts from the april version to have a new setup ready for the release of Brink.
Been following the guide for quite some time even if I weren't planning on buying, it's great for giving an overview of the market.

yeah I've been wondering too. Is it because of the rumours of the new AMD 7000 range coming out in may? Im planning on buying a custom gaming PC based off their gaming workhorse spec and I'm just hoping that they are going to continue this guide as it has come in extremely useful for me.

Any chance of even just an update on when the next buyer's guide is likely to come out?

Excellent, thank you for the heads-up.
Just started ordering parts. Only ordered the Frio cooler so far, as that needs to be sent and it's from a shop I prefer not to use, the rest I can just pick up in the area.

    Nooooo,

I was hoping you were holding off the next one until you had some Z68 mobo's to include!

Here's hoping to an interim update in two weeks time!

Thanks for all the hard work!

    hmmm....
Still not up on site yet  Any chance it will be up within the next 24 hours? Can't hold off buying parts longer than tomorrow afternoon, and wondering what made the gaming workhorse build this time :thumb:

    On site when?

any idea of when it's going up on site? I'm planning on ordering the gaming workhorse PC spec off PCSpecialist.co.uk in the next couple of days. Is this a good site, or are there any better ones people can reccomend?

ty material for all of these guides; they're extremely helpful.

I'm guessing/hoping the 12th May, when some NDA's will be lifted!

Apple have launched their new iMacs with Z68 boards, so I'm going to go with the NDA lift on the 12th, and Bit-Tech will have had boards in the labs for reviews to be out the same day as the hardware is clearly ready and in volume.

Can anyone tell me why they choose the "64GB Crucial RealSSD C300" in this guide? It is slower than other disks around the same price, so I wonder if they chose it because it's more reliable or something? Nice guide by the way. I used it when I did my most recent upgrade.
