OK, thanks for the input, guys. It looks like i should be OK with my current PSU for the time being, then. I'll be upgrading it eventually anyway, but as long as it's still appropriate, then i'll continue to use it. Thanks again!
Should be OK, you're always better having a fair amount of overhead but it's enough. I've got a Corsair 400CX and it's rated for 30A on the 12V, which is sufficient for most big single GPUs.
