I've decided to get a Kindle but I'm not sure about something.

Is there a difference between the amaon.co.uk and amazon.com versions. I think they each use their respective Kindle stores. Is there anything I need to consider about which to get as I live in Europe where I have to get it through amazon.com but I'm studying in the UK.

No idea if this helps, but I live in the UK, bought a 3G kindle in the UK, and was recently using the store in Singapore with no problems.

The 3g ones work worldwide. The only difference between the us and uk ones is the sim carrier. The uk ones have a vodafone sim, not sure what the us ones have.

Just bought my mum a WiFi Kindle, £91 from Tesco Direct. Seemed like a good deal.
