I remember reading he's in star trek as the "main villian" or so the article said.

sherlock easily!! He would deduce a planets worth and what traps would be awaiting him from the level of dust coming from the planet surface or something lol.
I was always a Picard fan, never really liked Kirk.

Yeah its on imdb, Smaug (voice) / The Necromancer (voice) and in the new star trek though no details yet.

Season 3 will likely be next year.

Harcourt Fenton Mudd? Really? I know he's a villain in the new ST film, but Harry? :eyebrow:

Didn't see that one coming, if it pans out to be true. :)

Oh - and latest episode of Sherlock was as good as ever. Liked the Grimpen Minefield update of the Mire.

And Henry Knight, rather than Sir Henry Baskerville.

That was a very, very good end to the series and the show. Well done to all involved!

I really enjoyed the episode, not sure how much I liked the ending, depends whether there is/how good the third series is I guess.

You'd be surprised. Everything is vital.

Personally I'd be interested if/how Moffat decides to modernise ACD's transiton from "The Final Problem" into "The Adventure of the Empty House". I have a feeling that'll be involving the cyclist and ambulance crew.

It was a very good ep and moriarty was actually pretty good. While I didn't mind the ending
moriarty shooting himself seemed, well daft and pointless. It seemed a throwback to the 3rd ep of the first series for the sake of it

It was a interesting twist but was needed to make SH do what Moriarty wanted him to do.

Have to admit the ending was slightly disappointing.
Season 3 should be interesting, not only to find out how exactly
    sherlock faked his own death
but also how things will work now,
will sherlock operate from the shadows or will he reveal he faked his own death and clear his name...i hope he clears his name, that irritated me that the stupid detective and that reporter dirtied sherlocks name because they could not handle the real truth

    I'm guessing
Since the little girl screamed her head off when she saw Sherlock, Moriarty had hired/created a lookalike. Having no further use for said lookalike, M had already killed him & stashed him on the hospital roof. Once M shot himself, S finds L & throws him off the roof.

Ohhh, never thought of that. I just assumed it
would be a generic corpse from the morgue and that the blow to the head would be enough to confuse Watson sufficently.

You forget about the fact that there was no resolution of
the favor from the lab scientist when they were examining samples.
