Well for fear that my motherboard is the one messing up my HDDs im looking for a good socket-A mobo that supports DDR and is very reliable. Want cost to be lower then $100 is possible but anything will do. Just want many suggestions and experiences... :thumb:

Yes this is a GREAT mobo!!

I'm a happy user with no problems whatsoever...

It has a good (well at least my mobo has rev. 104) OC when it comes to the FSB and ALL the nice features!!

    I'll say: Go for it!!

Congratz me mynumber 1. post  :)

Hey Cresco, does the A7N8X Deluxe rev 1004, automatically unlock the multiplier of the CPU?? I know the Abit NF7-S does, but what about the Asus?? Thanks!!:thumb:

Yes it does, IF you update your BIOS to 1002 or higher!

I can go for 8-14 in the multiplier!

Here are my MAX OC (My RAM are holding me back, only PC2700 on a 205 FSB :( ) :

Could you trim that up a bit, it is a bit much ;)

What do you mean by "messing up your HDDs?" Corruption, malfunction, drive stops working???

    What drives are you using?
