Dell's RGBLED laptop panels have a huge gamut (112% of Adobe RGB, I think) and are TN... there's always an exception.
It is an interesting delve into light theory, it was quite a nice read. With newer models, technologies and incredible innovation occurring, yes we are approaching the point where we can get incredible accuracy from our equipment, but here is an interesting little tit-bit. People who have had their lens removed for cataracts, can actually see uv, as the lens in your eye shields most uv from our eye, enabling people without a lens to see incredible colour spectrum and range. Its quite fascinating.
