Scratch Build – In Progress Project: G5 desk

nearing completion

it's been a while and the project has been progessing slowly and inconsistently.

I took a whole bunch of pics but swapped memory cards in the middle and haven't been able to find them yet

here's one though:


ikea legs fitted, all the internals are fitted. Rear exhaust fans sounds like a plane taking off so i'll have to have a look at what i can do there. I'm mucking around with making the apple logo a clickable panel so it's the power switch and i still need to come up with some kind of grill for the front intake fan.

 

haha. Probably the lesser sin considering I'm ripping the whole imac to shreds
