    Thanks mate! :dremel:

    Made some small progress again.

Lets look at Kühler first. Fan is painted white, screws have snap caps, pump is vinyl'ed and all logos/stickers are removed. :)

    Hmm, what next..

Painting more parts. :worried: I'm so bad at painting, but slowly learning better. Mid plate came out really nice. :naughty:

And while paint can was still there, something else got painted too.. USB ports had some silver color in them and it doesn't fit in my color scheme. So this happened:

And if someone is wondering.. White is ok for this build. :D

    Little taste what's coming next:

I've been working like a dog and missed all the deadlines for this project. Everything seems to be taking four times as much time as I think.. :D

But now I'm back on track as I need this system for Assembly Summer ´12 -LAN party. Only 21 days left and I have room full of parts. :worried:

Not much time for teasers and updates I was going to post, but nevertheless there should be photos coming. Hopefully posting next update or final photos won't take another month. :p

We'd rather you take your time and do it right than rush it and screw it up.

    Thanks KayinBlack! :thumb:

    Thank you Telefonskaft! :)

Furball Zen, you're 100% right. :D Somehow I thought that I have plenty of time and suddenly I have only one month left. You can be sure that with next project I'm trying to be a bit quicker and start project log only once I have enough material for several updates. :)

    Thanks Hask! :)

Assembling parts is going quite smoothly - I'm positive that this will be ready for Assembly '12. Some photos:

More soon! Some parts for graphics card are just painted and drying.. There's one small 'surprise' for motherboard too. Hopefully it works out well. :dremel:

    Thanks p0Pe and Sarakon!

Just put it all together and tested that everything still works. And yes, it works very well. Aquaero 5 is very cool too. :D

Bad thing is that motherboard side is a mess currently.. Now to route all the cables nicely and get it finalized. Only 17 days and 38 minutes left.. :worried:

Still so much to do, but I can already see the finish line. :D

Thank you everyone! Your comments really motivate me! :)

There was a small problem with Aquaero 5.. I had ordered connectors to move display away from the main unit. However, I got wrong connectors! Should have checked order more carefully. To make it work I had to solder ribbon cables directly to Aquaero. Really hated every moment of soldering those, but now it works like I had planned.

Another small thing was annoying too - sleeved 8 pin cable ended up being too short. :D

But otherwise everything works and is put together. Now I'll just redo that one cable, clean cables a bit and it's done!

    Next update: final photos!

Just give me a week or so for photos. I really don't want to rush them and it's been very rainy summer in Finland. Final photos have to be taken with sunlight. :p
