Hello guys! First of all, I just want to say that this is a great forum and you are really the best of the best, and so nice to everyone. Now, lets go for the question. Last week I decide to upgrade my mATX MB to ATX MB so I could have 4 ram slots, SLI and CF modes for the future and new features. Now, I saw those two nice MBs: The Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H and the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3. In my country (Israel) the Z77X is 22% more expensive than the Z68X. My question is if the Z77 worth the extra amount of money, because I want to buy the new Corsair vengeance 1500 and I would like to save some money if the difference between them is not so big. My case support ATX MB and I have the new Ivy bridge 22 nm which supported in both of them. Thanks for listening, and have a great day!
Go for the full z77 support my older z68 did not like my 3570k Oc wise... might of needed a BIOS to fix though.... both are good though Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
It is intereesting that you chose the 2500K chip and state that you don't intend to OC it. The 2500K is great at OC'ing and you can get the same results from a 2400 chip if you don't OC. And it you don';t want to OC the H67 is a great board which is much more bang for the buck than the Z67 or Z77. The 2450 or the plain 2500 would be cheaper and better suited for non OC'd systems. And your build could save up to $150 on the 2400 & H67, which you could dedicate to other components. I cannot recommend a build with a 2500K and a Z series mobo if you don't OC.
