it seems we had to get everyone to join before starting the map on our listen servers.

 

I think the Bathroom map, like a lot was a bit pants until you got to know it a bit.

Once I figure it out I really enjoyed it.

The big open map though, the last one we played was super awesome, it was an awesome game too, Very close for much of it but those damn reds just got it in the end.

Despite there being only five of us playing, this is definitely an awesome GOTM.

Come on you idiots, it's £9! Get it bought and join in.

 

I found it funny, usually due to the exclamations of "I'm in the bath!" or "Yeah, there's a plane in the cupboard".

I think we need to play on public servers for the rest of the month, the hassle with private listen servers is ridiculous.

 

FYI it's cheaper on GOG (about £6 IIRC), and has no DRM either.

Downloading from GOG, worked out as £6.59. The only worth while question, I shouldn't try playing it like battlefield right?

Playing ut2k4 on a european server is a no no though....

Not playing this evening, but can we schedule a game for tomorrow, starting at 8?

 

Because I'm from across the pond, which usually results in a ping of 130ms, which is unplayable in UT

I'd still give it a shot though but I couldn't connect to the mumble server. Mumble is weird, I can only put an adress, a port and a username 0.o

 

That's all you need - the IP of the Bit-Tech server, the port and the username you want on there. Easy as.

 

I tried that but it didn't work

 

House mate is out for the night so I'm up for a marathon UT session tonight .

 

that's the UT2k4 listen server, only works when it's running. connect to mumble and then we either host a listen server or jump on to a random server.
