My defence: The default search option shows only thread titles. I failed to realise the bargain thread wasn't just for Steam. Maybe more people get to see the offer this way?... I'll go make some coffee to wake me up.
This one is more direct. You see the offer without going into a thread to discover it. Over now anyway I think.
Speak to EA chat. Who knows they may part refund you especially if you bought it a day or two of when they announced the discount.
I doubt they will still give me any sort of refund. I Got it from Game UK as it was Only £29.99 and for some unknown reason games on Origin are always a great deal more expensive than Retail.
