I think my card's could further than the I think the +150 I can get on the core but I don't want to push them to far because of the temp's. Still not sure if I will watercool them or just save up for some Titans simply because I will get a 4K screen at some point within the next 12 months hopefully, so the extra Vram will come in handy for then but then again I am also thinking of watercooling the 680's and getting a 3rd card. My next build is going to cost a fortune either way so what ever I choose will be fine, as I am saving up from August at around £350 a month for it.
If I were in the situation where I was looking to get a 4k screen within the next 12 months, I'd definitely go for a pair of Titans, if not wait for the next gen of cards. I take it you have 2GB 680's? If this is the case then they will be hugely Vram limited if you get a third card. I doubt you would see any benefit in gaming performance at all. Only in benchmarks would you be likely to see a higher score. 2GB Vram simply won't do for 4K anyway. For tri SLI with these sorts of cards, there really needs to be 4-6gb's available to make it worthwhile.
And here's a low end score, Not that bad......I think. CPU running at 3.2GHz, no idea why everything thinks its 3.6. GPU is at 830 core, 2000 mem.
Yeah my card's are the 2Gb versions, as when I bought the 1st one the 4Gb card's were not out and when I bought the 2nd one I didn't have enough for a 4GB version. However my upgrade fund took abit of a hit last night, after getting home from work and finding out that the Inland Revenue are going to hit me for a underpayment of tax grrr!!!
Here is my attempt, I'm going to play with the overclocking a bit though. Any idea why it is only reporting 1 GPU though as I have 2?
Quad SLI GTX 670 4GB cards F.T.W cards overclocked to; 1306MHz Core - 7800MHz Memory SC Card overclocked to; 1267MHz Core - 7700MHz Memory
Just ran the test to see how bad my score would be Not as bad a I thought considering the cobbled together nature of the rig!
Not bad at all, considering the CPU and platform (though I'm not sure quite how much that affects it). Here's my 670 at stock clocks, CPU @ 4.2 despite what the cap says:
FPS: 52.1 Score: 1312 Min FPS: 16.9 Max FPS: 121.2 I'm happy with those numbers. Much better than the 550s I just upgraded from.
