    I think thats what Metal Hammer magazine decided, but really theres been alot more versions of Metallica than that. I think the 3 versions is based on the fact they have had three recording bass players.

    True, but it was because the guy that started Napster was makign s***loads of money out of other peoples music not because the music was free.

    ...and Kazaa and Soulseek were born. I can forgive them killing Napster (or Large Oilrig rather). I can forgive them cutting their hair to appeal to VH1 viewers. I can forgive them making 'Load' and that thing with the orchestra. I can forgive them letting Limp Bizkit and Avril Lavigneenearnre cover their music. Because Metallica gave me 'Ride The Lightning' and 'Master Of Puppets'.

    I saw their new video earlier whilst channel hopping. Good lord, it's dire. Staind were on after and they seemed more interesting.

    ...I don't see that as a good thing.
