    Hi,

Im trying to connect my LG tv (model: 42PJ550) to my pc through HDMI however, the pc recognizes the TV but there is no TV input on my TV to connect to PC.
I am using two LG 22 inch screens, one through HDMI and one through DVI which work perfect but when I put the HDMI out of the 22 inch screen into my 42 inch LG tv screen, it doesnt work.

    Any help would be appreciated

Did you select the right input channel on the tv?

This is the problem... It wont let me select an input channel even though the pc recognises the tv, the tv does not show an input for hdmi... The only input shown is for tv channels. Ive tried changing resolutions and refresh rates but still doesnt work.

Do you have a laptop or something and see if that is recognised by it?

What happens if you unplug everything and boot the PC with just the tv connected?

do you have the tv turned on when you connect the two? my old tv had an issue, where it had to be switched on before plugging in to detect the connection.

Just checked the manual for your TV and:

If i'm understanding it correctly, it'll only enable the selection of the HDMI input if it detects the correct voltage signal? Also check that your connected to HDMI/DVI in (number 1).
