The GMG installer isn't too bad, and you can remove it once it's downloaded and tied to Uplay (which you still have to do anyway).

Still a little too amused by the childish humour - played a couple of hours last night & was chuckling away (probably aided by the fact that I drank a couple of beers whilst playing) I was particularly amused by 'New objective: Spoiler Penetrate rear entrance '
Yup, I am avoiding tying games to steam now cos I wanted to sell my bioshock infinite key... Can't cos the game is now locked to steam. It's rare I buy a game I hate though but I am more cautious about tying my greenman games to steam if I can help it.
Typical Ubisoft/EA/Activision attitude - they stumble across a new IP that people like by pure chance after not having any confidence in it doing well because it wasn't a mainstream FPS, then when it sells well they decide to run it into the ground by turning it into a 'franchise' and churning out sequel after sequel
WE DID IT! Success despite the whole thing getting leaked before release. Then again they could have just had silly low expectations for it.
on a side note, I've noticed that sales of this game are being shut down in market place due to breaching T+c's. Now I'm too lazy to look this up myself but would it be ok to gift it to someone else? I ended up with two copies from two different graphics card promos.
I can't download - is UPlay still offline? I got my code from AMD, purchased through the UPlay store but I get no option to download. I just get a webpage unavailable so I can't download UPlay or the game Anyone know if I can download UPlay from somewhere else? (legitimate link only please) Edit: trying the download from my work machine seems to be OK today. Should really have tried again before posting lol
Did you try through more than one browser on your home machine? It can be cookie issue sometimes as well. I now have a cookie plugin on chrome and firef*cks to delete cookies on the website I'm at. Has helped a few times.
Yeah I got it by downloading the installer at work and then installing it when I got home. First impressions are this game is hilarious! So cheesy and eighties it is awesome

I think Bioshock is tied to Steam regardless of where you buy it isn't it? Also in the case of Blood Dragon, it's also tied to UPlay is it not?
Great news! Just started playing this on Friday. Havent had this much fun in an FPS single player in years! Hardly bothered with the storyline aswell since it's fun letting the blood dragons bezerk on the garrisons!!! I particularly enjoy the constant T2-intro-esque soundtrack and the cyber vision (which is basically good old predator heat vision) Spoiler Every piece of dialogue with spider at the beginning was pure gold and Sloan's back breaker on Spider was so ridiculous, it was immense!
