Is anyone hoping Jeremy Clarkson will ever repeat his test of comparing driving on a track with a video game like he did with the NSX on Laguna Seca?

Would be good to see him drive a proper sim.

Purely at random, I fired up Forza the other days and took a quick jaunt around the Nurburgring, and I was thinking exactly the same thing!

Two of the things I _always_ do in Forza 4:
    1) Try to beat the Top Gear Timesheets in the Kia Cee'd. And fail. The problem is that the TG one isn't stock - it has a rollcage, but I don't know what else.

    2) Try to beat Various production car laptimes around the green hell... and fail.

That said - I did beat the SRT10 Viper's Laguna Seca record of 1:33 quite substantially (I seem to be under the impression that I have done it in under 1:30 - but I can't be THAT confident anymore)

IMO, Forza is a aim while GT isn't.

I guess with a fixed budget having a smaller series means more budget per episode...

Haven't 6 +1 been the norm for a while now?
Essentially: 6 episodes, one special (which in this case would be xmas)

The damn iPlayer hasn't got it uploaded. Which is annoying as piss, was rather looking forward to watching it after work.

I know, I'm still waiting as well! They seem to take forever on some shows, but rubbish like bargain hunt will be available immediately

A good first episode though the first 2 stops on the challenge did seem odd considering the distance that he had to cover, ending was good with the car.

    I enjoyed that...
They missed a comparison between the Cee'd and the Astra, though - I'd like to see what the seed difference is...

I found the SIARPC segment to be even more boring that usual. It can be great when they go in-depth on some celebrities car history, but that smattering of badly scripted humour wasn't my cup of tea.

Boring over scripted tedious dross, and since when was £17k a reasonable price for a car??, you'd think with James banging on about Dacia for the past 3 years they'd have one of them now they're here.

Only decent segment was the Gti shoot out, I'd have the Pug for my money

Looked at all 3 of them on Saturday whilst shopping for a new car, but couldn't really justify one. :sigh:
