I want this in 10" to replace my Galaxy Tab 10.1, which Samsung seems to have abandonded.

I am looking forward to both new Nexus 7 and Chromecast, unfortunately i am sure it will take at least 2-3 months for these to arrive to central Europe :(.

Looks good. Will reduce the retail of old nexus though might be time to pick up a bargin for those wanting one.

I guess it's going to be a straight conversion from dollars to pounds on the price. Can't see it being the £149 from current exchange rates.

Currys/PC World are already selling original nexus 7 for £149, I really can't see it coming down any more than that, it's just too good a product, they don't need to discount it any more to sell it.

    *EDIT*

Wow, surprised to see the 16GB one at only £199, 32GB one supposedly £239. Seems like a huge bargain for what your getting.

@Cerberus90: don't forget to add VAT, because you clearly forgot that. 179 GBP with VAT is the price equal to $229 before sales tax. Plus the price increase due the extra yeah of warranty in most of EU.

It looks rather spiffy, but I'd like to find out if the charging/docking dots are the same as the current Nexus7.

I wish they'd make one out of aluminium. Plastic just feels rubbish in comparison.

Otherwise great specs for a great price, but I cant see it drawing away people from the ipad mini.

Phew, nearly bought the old one last week. I'd have been kicking myself paying full price for tech on borrowed time.

Plus import duty, shipping to the UK etc... if it was as simple as converting the $ to £ then we would be quids in :).

No defined, this is nothing but a receiver. You send your content through the compatible applications on other devices - Youtube, Google Music, Chrome... This is pretty much an Airplay alternative from Google.
