Just thinking of doing a mitx Prodigy build and there isn't really any AMD ITX equipment other than the APU stuff.

Anyone mind helping spec me a gaming rig for £1k? I've no idea with Intel processors / CPUs...

I already have a PSU, Monitor, KB, Mouse, Speakers, Kitchen Sink, etc.

Would like an SSD as boot drive and will probably only need a 1TB drive for storage as I have a 4Tb setup in my Microserver :)

Is the PSU under 150mm long? this is max length. If modular with plugs (female side) sticking out you may need sub 140mm length.

what Games and type of games to you want to play? Any CPU heavy RTS games?
    what Screen resolution? 1080p?

I you could post this info it would be great!

Bitfenix have backtracked on the whole PSU length in the Prodigy; now they say that a 160mm deep PSU will fit. So apparently it should be fine to reuse your PSU.

    How about this?

    Intel i5-4670K (£180 @ AriaPC)

    ^Replace the 7970s with 2 GTX 760s and it'll be pretty awesome.

If 500gb storage is enough then you could get rid of the mechanical drive and put in one of these?
