    Hi All,

I want to get my gf a new headset.

I was looking at the razer megaladon but whilst some reviews say they are great other say they are just awful. I was looking at razer because her keyboard and mouse are so it would have been nice for them to match.

It's used almost exlusively for gaming (we're going to i49 next week so would be worn for most of the weekend so definately need to be comfortable)

I need something that is comfortable to wear and reasonable sound quality (and microphone). Probably looking around £100ish. It needs to be a headset (she wouldn't want to use a separate microphone)

A couple of friends have got the Asus Vulcan headset which they are happy with, any thoughts on those?

    Any advice?

    Thanks

Vulcans are good. Megalodons are pretty heavy I think? If you can get them cheaper they
would be ok because they are, as a gaming headset, just that - ok.

A set I prefer (although I use normal headphones now with seperate mic) - is the Sennheiser PC350. See if you can find those for your price. They're good. To me at least. xD

The Sennheiser PC350 are a bit far out of my budget I'm afraid

Get a good comfy set of cans.

Buy a Snowball mic. It's a bit pricier but the results are much better.

She won't want separates so it's got to be a headset
