Hi everyone! After some pause, I have a new worklog. Nothing extraordinary, simple project with some moderate modding. Components are pretty basic for this project: AMD A10-5800K ASRock FM2A85X-ITX Scythe Big Shuriken 2 rev.B Corsair Vengeance 8gb SSD Corsair 90gb SilverStone SST-ST50F-P 500W SilverStone SG05 I'm, probably, gonna use it as htpc/home media center/web surfing or will take to my office ) So, let's start with some photos: Memory installed: Some fan pics: PSU, i know it's too overpowered for this project, but i had this psu lying around, so gonna use it anyway Started to do some actual work: Removed all the stickers from MB )) Placed CPU Also did some painting job on MB: Used white car paint marker. Result is pretty good. I really didn't like the black color of cpu fan and it didn't match the color scheme of the project. So, painted it: Did some sleeving, but it is not perfect - gonna redo it later, when will sleeve my PSU The white spots on the blades are from flashlight. And here is the result. I'm satisfied. to be continued...
I shouldn't scroll so fast - I saw mini-ITX board, Blue painted fan, then PSU with blue painted fan and thought you'd somehow fit the whole thing into the PSU case! Looking interesting (now I read it properly), what kind of layout are you thinking of?
that would be a nice idea for another mod Little update. SilverStone SG05: And some modding. Used old lian li feet: Here is what i'm thinking of the layout. I'm gonna place psu in the front of case, using holes for a stock front fan.
