Howdy Fellow Bit-Techers As you may have gathered, I am doing a dissertation on overclocking, whether or not overclocking is worthwhile in the long term as well as individuals methods of going about overclocking and which components they like to overclock and the manufacturers people like to use. Questionnaire below Google Docs Questionnaire So if I could get a few responses for my questionnaire, which is my main research, I would very much appreciate it indeed. There are one or two questions that may require some minor double checks of your system, I do not wish to take up too much of anyone’s time, so just give a rough answer if time is short, precise answers are obviously preferred. Thanks for your time ~ J-a-c-o-b
Thanks a lot for the responses. I've got myself 20 responses so far amazingly. With a fair amount of variation and different thoughts. Huge thanks again.
Not to sound mean but you survey is very bias towards overclocking, what if like me you don't overclock until you struggle to play the games you want to? also you need some more negative answers: Do you believe that your extra overclocking performance is worth the possible lifetime reduction of your particular components? * Definitely Probably Maybe Probably Not Definitely Only trying to help as I just finished my dissertation and I know if you mess up your survey it makes life very hard.
Thanks to those that have filled this out. I agree that the particular question is bias, however, when people such as yourself have filled this questionnaire in (aka, haven't overclocked), it gives me more to analyse, which is where the marks are for me. admittedly, it does make it hard to fill in for the reader. However, my next assessment is an overall reflection. I would alter the question a bit, but this is due in on Tuesday Thanks for your comment though
