Music What are you listening to?

Found a new Folk Metal band, Tengger Cavalry. They're chinese and use mongolian folk music as their inspiration. It's an incredibly unique sound that works quite well. There's even some throat singing in there.

 

Listen to too many diferent things to go listing but, just got a pair of AKG K550s, absolutely superb and getting better as I use them.

 

I'm on a folk metal quest again. After finding Tengger Cavalry, I found some other mongolian inspired folk metal.

Both of them quite unique, even in such a cluttered genre where being unique is key.

I usually tend to listen to artists and music I know very well, but small things like this remind me that that wonderful feeling of discovering something new is like nothing else. Knowing that, just by following the recommended section next to the video and looking up the artists I come across, I'll be listening to beautiful new music for the next few hours genuinely makes me giddy like a kid in a playground.
