Hi guys 1st post here but have been a reader for a long time!

Anyway have a weird issue which i cannot gind any information on

    Specs are:

ASUS ROG crosshair V formula Z
    With FX 9370
    16gb Avexir core 2400 ram x2 8gb
    Kraken x61
    R9 290x 4gb (gigabyte windforce)
    XFX pro 850w psu
    1 x 120gb ssd (kingston)
    2 x 1tb seagate
    Win 7 64bit

The bios screen is unusable yet windows loads fine
If you switch to EZ flash if pixilates ....even weirder if you move the mouse its like using a scratch card as reveales the picture underneeth one blck at a time

Everything is compressed to bottom 2/3rds of the screen ...drop down doxes are hit and miss ...not a big overclocker so never noticed it untill i noticed my ram was running at 1600mhz stock

I actually managed to update the bios using the white usb flash port with suitibly formated at configured flash drive...through trial and error even though you can't actually see whats on screen if i could post a picture i would :jawdrop:

I have tried on 2 seperate monitors and two 1080p tv's
    All are the same!

If anyone could shed some light on this even suggest possible causes ide be greatfull to know if its a board of gpu issue cheers

Are you connecting by HDMI ? if so, try putting it through DVI instead ... works for me on a 990FX Sabretooth (with HDMI i just get to see the top left corner of the uefi screens).

That'd be my thought too - try another cable or type of output. Also, bumping your posts after less that 10 hours isn't really on - try giving people a chance...

My Mini ITX pc does this via HDMi but is fine with DVI so as the other say try a different cable.
