About 2 weeks ago i purchased a shuttle mini p4 system for the huge price of $115- This price came with some flaws in the system obviously, such as a scratched case, and little hole cut in one side-
Having ditched my other projects in favor of this pc for school, i only have 3 days to work on it, so this will be a hopefully very quick and easy project!

Seeing as i have been keeping my eye out for a case to use my ever growing picture gallery of tatoou pictures, I had at it today creating my own "out of the edges" design-

The pc is simple parts i had laying around:
    P4 2.26 Retail
    2x256mgs pc 3200 Corsair
    R 9700 pro
    48x liteon burner

    This is how it came-
    [IMG]
    Note the hole....

After several hours of designing.... i came up with this- Plexi will sit behind it ofcourse, and the hole, now thats for tommarow-

My custom fan grills, these are not for me as of now, rather just ideas- please ask if you want to use one-

Seeing as its 2 am here, until tommarow, happy modding :dremel:

I like Homer's expression in the first pic!
A clear faceplate would look good.
The case looks amazingly dirty! :eeek:
Are you going to split the case cover to make it easier to cut the windows?

Well the cover is in the shape of a U, it's going to be difficult to make nice clean cuts.
Are you making the new faceplate?

    I like this a lot.

Looks like it'll be a bit shakey though...

and is that a break in the metal above the hole [ big square cut out in original pics ] on the side with the big square part cut out?

I dig the cut dude! I think it would look better if you filled all the tiny holes in the side with bondo then paint it It would look a lot better then :)

hummm good idea! I was thinking about it earlier, but im worried about air flow due to it being the ONLY input for the case... Ill work on it.,...

But the fan wouldn't really cool that much apart from the ATX power connector and perhaps the ram.
Fill up all the holes and the square space!

That's some crazy cutting there. Curious to see this one finished. What are you doing with the square hole that was already in the case, and also the little vent holes?

BTW- nice model T back there :D

what did you use to cut?

I just got a shuttle myself and wanted to cut some designs in, but I'm looking for better solutions than my usual, and I've never used a dremel before.
