    My system

    XP1700@XP2600
Soyo Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition KT400
    Hercules 9800pro
    1 x cdrw
    1 x Seagate 120gb hd
    512mb ddr ram @ 333mhz

I use a 420w Hiper psu and have been told the reason I may being having gpu problems is the PSU may be at fault and I need to buy a better more expensive one but was wondering what you guys use?

    Thanks

Antec 400w. The one that comes w/ their SX series cases. Able to get it second-hand for only $50, which was a steal at the time (January). You can't go wrong with Antec, people have tried and have failed in failing to be let down (if I fill that sentence with any more negatives, it's going to start wearing black lipstick and paint hexagrams on the wall in its own blood).

i have a 2500+ barton running at a true 2500mhz (3400+ ish) with three 120mm fans and 4 80mm, and its all powered from a £14 ebuyer 400watt cheapie, no problems at all.

well unless you count not being able to overclock it any more a problem.:D

That at 12.5*200 or some other combination?

Mine (AXQEA I think) is at 11*200 and seems stable with bit more juice. Gonna try upping the multiplier if it stays stable for the next week or so :)

It's certainly not the Hiper 420W PSU. That PSU is a solid unit. Just as good as some of the more expensive brands. Besides, that lot would run happily on a 300W PSU...

    Enermax 350W.

Don't really know if it's a "good" PSU. Never had any problems with it.

Yowsa, that thing really likes the juice :eeek:

Mine would do 11.5*200 (@ 1.825v) stable in everything but Prime. The highest my current BIOS will allow is 1.85, so i doubt it'll go any higher, and the FSB doesn't want to go over 200 - although that was default volts on the RAM...

Aopen 300w has lasted about 6 system upgrades and still strong and runs without problems with loads of kit inside the case.
Qtec 550w and 350w, the 550w is a POS and the 350w is good reliable psu that has been a pc that normally runs non stop 24/7 without problems.
No Name 350w seems to work fine on a 1ghz duron clocked to 1.2ghz with raid and fanbus etc.
