Driving Test - RESULTS NOW IN!

omg this week has gone way to fast!

Ive got my driving test 2morrow at 10:44am.

Not totally sure why im posting about this, jus thought u good peeps of bit could egg me on and stuff!

I aint gonna get all cocky about it, cos i know people who got all cocky n then failed! I think my aim is to jus take it calmly and make sure i do all i needa do.

Good luck with your test, think positive and concentrate more on the drive than the technicalities (mirrors, etc). I passed mine recently, it's the greatest feeling in the world .

Thanks. It's only once you pass your test you realise what a rubbish driver you were before. It took me 2 goes, failed on the reverse round a corner first time round - I spent so long showing the instructor how many observations I was making I stopped looking where I was going!

They do allow for candidates being nervous. I was shaking like a leaf when I went for mine which is very unlike me, I'm normally very calm in stressful situations. The examiner does understand though, after all he's seen it hundreds of times before.

I failed first time because I was having a really bad day.
Nearly hit a car on the way out of the car park

Oh well. I have another one booked for December.

Just stay relaxed and don't try to hard. If you need to spend more time on a manouver etc. then use more time.

 

10 points for hitting a pedestrian, 50 points for launching an OAP over the bonnet, 70 points for a cyclist, 100 points for a motorbike (lowest score wins)

I take it if u fail, they give u some sorta sheet to tell u where u went wrong?

 

Pass or fail you get the mark sheet and a second sheet explaining how you're marked.

 

ahh thats alright then, at least they will leave u knowing wot went wrong.

It would be killer if u failed and didnt know why!

I failed my first time because I got some ***** (I put the *'s). Seriously, she said I was going too slow . I was going about 3 over the whole time. Unless they changed the intown speed limit to 60mph. Anyway, I took it again and passes a year ago.
