First of all it is my first thread on this forum so I want to say hello to all of you, my name is Michal and I am from Poland But let's get down to the business, shall we ? As you already saw from the thread title project is named Frost Orange. The name of it comes for two things, "Frost" comes from white color to which case will be painted and from the "frosted look" of the hard tubing and cpu water block. Orange simple for the main color scheme of water cooling loop Spec of this build is as follow: CPU: i7 7700K Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z270X-DESIGNARE GPU: AORUS GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G (if everything goes well, they will be 2 in SLI ) RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum Series Limited Edition Orange Zasilacz: Seasonic PRIME Titanium 850W SSD: HyperX Predator 240GB + Aquacomputer kryoM.2 evo PCIe Obudowa: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX LC: Alphacool At this point I will start from pretty heavy mods on the case, first of all I will cut top and form panels on CNC to improve airflow of this case. After that I will disassembly nearly the whole case because I will make it an reverse (inverted) ATX, so I will create a completely new mobotray + psu shroud form aluminium, this will also improve rigidity of the Evolv. P.S I want to also huge thanks to all of the companies that support this build which are: GIGABYTE, AORUS, ALPHACOOL, AQUATUNING, PHANTEKS, CASEKING Some photos of the equipment that I already have in place Gigabyte GA-Z270X-DESIGNARE AORUS GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G Corsair Dominator DDR4 Orange Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX
Project of new mobotray is ready so now it is time for CNC cuts Also some photos of motherboard + cpu water block + RAM combo:
Top and front are ready Also here is a project of new back panel which support reverse (inverted) ATX layout :
Most of the major mods are done, now I need to test fit all of the stuff inside for some measurements for custom cabling as well for the overall loop design and probably some other small adjustment act Photos before powder coating
The last necessary pieces of this puzzle just arrived Second GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition from Aorus + HL SLI bridge
It was been a while form my last update but I was on holiday, but nevertheless I was finally manage to powder coated the case
Vents looks nice, really dig the design pattern! Also, very nice texture on the powder coating - a vintage beige would have been fun though
Some photos of a final system from the biggest Poland Gaming and Hardware show called Poznan Game Arena P.S More better photos soon
Here are some final shots of my project P.S on photos you will spoty two different sets of RAM, this is out of my curiosity
