Well first of all which idiot DJ speaks inbetween songs !? If a DJ does that, he or she ought to be shot imo. Secondly, just think about it, some Korn, some deftones, some limp, the hazard, snot, lostprophets, disturbed, Machinehead ... it's all a good mix, cause you go there for the music ... and people who go to such a place here, commonly listen to all of that, not just not just one genre. Cathouse is rather dire, Sunday is suppose to be the best night to go to, I hear. Always been meaning to check out New Flesh, but Wedensday nights have never been that appealing for me. The one wedensday I was out and went along to it, I got knocked back for not looking alternative enough Generally I feel a vast majority of rock music they play to be rather undanceable to. Personally, I'd rather go to a poppy/r'n'b club where I can stay on the dancefloor having a laugh for more than one or two songs at a time. Anyway, more on topic... I used to have a similar problem. I like to go out as much as possible, but getting everyone out was a pain. Biggest excuse was the "no money" one from the people who get absolutely loads of money per week from their parents. Most of them would rather go to someones house for the night sitting around, chatting and having a few alcopops. Either that or going to the cinema and straight home. There's not really much you can do about it. You've just gotta find yourself a going-out crowd, you and 2-3 others that like going out a lot.
Yeah mate, I read that thread. I hope you get it all sorted. Maybe you could start arranging a night out for next week though? That way your mates don't have last minute excuses and you'll have something to look forward to! Sam
