DAMMIT!!! I needed to replace my laptop screen as a column of pixels had gone wrong and it also had some dirt particles embedded. Anyways, opened it up this morning, then found out that the connector on the replacement screen was larger than the original screen (still a 40 pin connector though), so I had to replace the original screen for the time being. Despite being careful, the original screen is now not working - I must've flexed it too hard at some point. Feeling a bit down at the moment - at least I have my tablet as a backup. Might have to see if I can do an RMA - problem is, ignoring my own attempt at repair, I've also customised the internals...
