This isn't a sea of red, it's a friggin' tsunami! Time to un-bookmark GDAX and come back in a few months, methinks...
Too much demand, so everyone is trying to profit from fees and such, £10 is actually still below the average: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html#3m It has been almost a full year since btc fees where even remotely acceptable.
Like the above. Time to close GDAX and forget about it for a while. I’ll transfer my coins out to my Ledger tonight and hope for the best.
I've mostly had losses since the December crash. Afterwards when every sh*tcoin was getting pumped I wasn't holding any of them. White papers, technology, development and real world applications don't seem to matter to a lot of people and the market seems closer to gambling than ever before. As an example, Tron is getting some negative feedback regarding a plagiarised white paper and code ripped from eth, but it's still the highest volume trade on binance.
Thanks for the link. I am currently mining using Nicehash and get paid bitcoins into coinbase. But to transfer the bitcoin out of coinbase into binance the fees are way too high to make this worthwhile. Any other way to get my bitcoins out of coinbase?
Why are you wanting/needing to move to binance specifically? I'm currently aiming to move to Kraken (5% fee I think) and then just withdraw as EUR.
Thanks Gareth, I'll give GDAX a try. Because that's the only exchange platform I have signed up to, so far. Not wanting to out, just want to find a way to "invest" the mining payments into a different currency.
Looks like all the money is filtering back into the established coins after bleeding the alts - not quite a recovery yet, but ETH, BTC and LTC are creeping back up.
The entire market's in freefall at the moment, though to isn't the first time,I expect it to start bouncing again in a week or so,hopefully
I was debating cashing out in a few of my LTC and building another miner. I just need the cards... yeah... not at these prices.
None anymore. I sold the venture when we got >50% more than we paid for the cards and have been flipping coins since then to make cash out of what we had. I just mine on my rig (below) and pocket whatever I get whenever it will pay out from Nicehash. Looks like it’ll be a while, but it will hopefully end up paying out eventually.
